Beberapa hari lagi, tepatnya 8 Februari 2016, masyarakat Tionghoa merayakan Tahun Baru Imlek 2567. Lebih dari sekadar perayaan, Imlek sejatinya memiliki makna filosofi yang dalam. Di Indonesia, perayaan Imlek dilakukan dengan berbagai cara. Ada pentas seni barongsai, pertunjukan opera, festival kelenteng, dan sebagainya, termasuk diskon belanja di pusat-pusat perbelanjaan. Acara-acara di televisi tampil dengan nuansa Tionghoa. Di balik tradisi hura-hura itu, sebagaimana perayaan hari besar lain, ada pesan spiritual tentang semangat hidup dan kesediaan berbagi. Perayaan Imlek merupakan ekspresi rasa syukur atas rezeki yang didapatkan selama setahun dan membangun semangat untuk menjalani kehidupan pada tahun berikutnya.Sebelumnya aku ingin mengucapkan Selamat Tahun Baru Imlek 2016 kepada seluruh warga Tionghoa yang merayakannya di tahun ini dengan semangat api dari sang monyet "api". nah ada beberapah hal yang ada sebab ada akibat, ada asap pasti akan ada api, begitu juga mengenai hari Imlek ini pasti ada sejarahnya.

BERDASARKAN PENANGGALAN

Sejarah penanggalan Imlek, penggagasnya adalah Huang Di atau Kaisar Kuning yang memerintah (2698-2598 SM), beliau disamping seorang Raja Agung juga seorang Nabi dan sekarang disebut Bapak Ilmu Pengetahuan, karena pada jamannya paling banyak menciptakan penemuan-penemuan baru dan peradaban dunia dimulai pada zaman itu.

Sistem penanggalan karya Huang Di ini, kemudian diterapkan oleh pendiri Dinasti Xia (2205-2197 SM) dengan Kaisar bernama Da Yu, yang juga merupakan salah satu Nabi dalam agama Khonghucu, namun ketika Dinas Xia jatuh diganti Dinasti Shang (1766-1122 SM), Dinasti Shang penanggalannya diganti dengan sistem penanggalan Shang. Ketika Dinasti Shang runtuh dan diganti oleh Dinasti Zhou (1122-475 SM) sistem penanggalan juga diganti dengan sistem penanggalan Zhou. Sejak Dinasti Zhou jatuh, terjadilah jaman perang berlangsung sekitar 254 tahun. Setelah itu baru mulailah berdiri Dinasti Qin (221-207 SM) dengan Kaisar bernama Qin Shi Huang dan sistem penanggalannya dirubah lagi. Jadi boleh dikatakan di daratan Tiongkok pernah memakai 4 macam sistem penanggalan dari jaman Dinasti Xia sampai denagn Dinasti Qin.

Nabi Khonghucu yang hidup pada tahun (551-479 SM), beliau hidup pada masa Dinasti Zhou (1122-475 SM). Waktu itu Nabi melihat masyarakat mayoritas hidup dari pertanian, maka sistem penanggalan Dinasti Xia-lah yang paling baik dan cocok, karena awal tahun barunya jatuh pada awal musim semi, sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai pedoman dalam pertanian.

Saat itu Nabi Khonghucu menyarankan agar negara kembali menggunakan kalender Dinasti Xia, namun nasihat bijak itu tidak digubris pemerintahan waktu itu. Maka Nabi bersabda dalam Sabda Suci XV : 11 berbunyi. “Pakailah penanggalan Dinasti Xia”. Dan sabda tersebut disosialisasikan oleh para murid-muridnya. Setelah runtuhnya Dinasti Qin, berdirilah Dinasti Han (206 SM- 220 M) oleh Kaisar Han Wu Di (140-86 SM), tepatnya tahun 104 SM, sistem penanggalan Xia diresmikan sebagai penanggalan Negara dan tetap digunakan hingga saat ini. Untuk menghormati Nabi Khonghucu, penentuan perhitungan tahun pertamanya dihitung sejak tahun kelahiran Nabi Khonghucu dan Agama Khonghucu ditetapkan sebagai agama Negara.

Mitos Tahun Baru Imlek

Menurut legenda, dahulu kala, Nián (年) adalah seekor raksasa pemakan manusia dari pegunungan (atau dalam ragam hikayat lain, dari bawah laut), yang muncul di akhir musim dingin untuk memakan hasil panen, ternak dan bahkan penduduk desa. Untuk melindungi diri merka, para penduduk menaruh makanan di depan pintu mereka pada awal tahun. DIpercaya bahwa melakukan hal itu Nian akan memakan makanan yang telah mereka siapkan dan tidak akan menyerang orang atau mencuri ternak dan hasil Panen.

Pada suatu waktu, penduduk melihat bahwa Nian lari ketakutan setelah bertemu dengan seorang anak kecil yang mengenakan pakaian berwarna merah. Penduduk kemudian percaya bahwa Nian takut akan warna merah, sehingga setiap kali tahun baru akan datang, para penduduk akan menggantungkan lentera dan gulungan kerta merah di jendela dan pintu. Mereka juga menggunakan kembang api untuk menakuti Nian. Adat-adat pengurisan Nian ini kemudian berkempang menjadi perayaan Tahun Baru. Guò nián (Hanzi tradisional: 過年; bahasa Tionghoa: 过年), yang berarti “menyambut tahun baru”, secara harafiah berarti “mengusir Nian”. Sejak saat itu, Nian tidak pernah datang kembali ke desa. Nian pada akhirnya ditangkap oleh 鸿钧老祖 atau 鸿钧天尊Hongjun Laozu, seorang Pendeta Tao dan Nian kemudian menjadi kendaraan Honjun Laozu.

Myth Lunar New Year

According to legend, ancient, Nian (年) was a man-eating giant from the mountains (or within range of another saga, from the bottom of the sea), which appears at the end of winter to feed on crops, livestock and even the villagers. Ada kemungkinan bahwa awal tahun bermula pada bulan 1 semasa Dinasti Xia, bulan 12 semasa Dinasti Shang, dan bulan 11 semasa Dinasti Zhou di China. Bulan kabisat yang dipakai untuk memastikan kalendar Tionghoa sejalan dengan edaran mengelilingi matahari, selalu ditambah setelah bulan 12 sejak Dinasti Shang (menurut catatan tulang ramalan) dan Zhou (menurut Sima Qian). Kaisar pertama China Qin Shi Huang menukar dan menetapkan bahwa tahun tionghoa berawal di bulan 10 pada 221 SM.
